Patient Transfer - Repatriation Service

You are being treated abroad, fall ill there, or have an accident and have already received initial emergency medical treatment locally. Would you like to receive further treatment in your home country and be transported to a hospital in your home country? Your health must allow you to be transported to a hospital in your home country. To this end, the situation and your state of health will be discussed with the doctors treating you at your place of vacation/stay or the assistance responsible for you.

Thanks to our cooperation with ambulance flight providers, travel agencies, airlines, and unique assistance services, which organize the return transport for your travel insurance, you will receive the appropriate return transportation.

Home Transportation

The return transportation to your home will also be organized with the consent of your treating physicians. Familiar surroundings at home and being with your family can support your recovery.

Transportation Vehicles

We will organize the most suitable return transportation for you and your medical condition or quality-tested service providers. The options range from a trip home by car or long-distance ambulance (PTA/IA/MICU) to transportation by helicopter or a medically accompanied scheduled flight or chartered ambulance jet.

Expenses

International or travel health insurance covers the expenses for repatriation from abroad. Depending on the insurance conditions, this only applies in medically necessary or advisable cases.

If you are not insured or would like to use a private service, you can alternatively order this service as a self-payer and cover the costs yourself.

Do you personally, your club, or your company need a first aid course? Whether as a self-payer for your driver's license or as a corporate customer with billing via the professional association responsible for you, we are your premium contact for certified first aid and emergency medicine training.
