He also obtained an additional qualification in "Neurosurgical Intensive Care Medicine". Furthermore, he received a master's certificate from the German Society of Spine Surgery (DGW).
The neurosurgery department at the Sana Clinics Duisburg is one of the largest specialist neurosurgery clinics in Germany and has many years of expertise. Prof. Scholz and his team treat approx. 3000 inpatients annually in 3–4 theatres and more than 7000 outpatients. Neuro-Oncological Center
The Sana Clinics Duisburg are a certified neuro center and approved by the DGNC (German Society of Neurosurgery) since 2015. In addition, the hospital is an oncological center in accordance with the German Society of Haematology and Medical Oncology (DGHO).
