Data protection police

Information on the privacy policy of PRIMO MEDICO GmbH for the website The responsible authority within the meaning of the Federal Data Protection Act is PRIMO MEDICO GmbH, Königinstr. 24, 80539 Munich

For PRIMO MEDICO, the protection of your privacy is of the utmost importance. You use the PRIMO MEDICO website via a secure connection (https). Compliance with the legal provisions on data protection is a matter of course for us. Transparency is very important to us: You as a user must always know when we store which data and how we use it. A note: our website contains links to other websites, especially to our members (medical specialists, doctors) and other network partners. We have no influence on these websites. Please refer to the privacy statements of the respective linked websites.

In general, the use of our website does not require the input of personal data. Should any personal data (for example name, street addresses or e-mail addresses) be collected on our websites, this will always be on a voluntary basis. Such data will not be disclosed to any third parties without your express permission.

We would like to point out that the transfer of data on the Internet (e.g. during e-mail communications) can be fraught with safety gaps. Seamless protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

The third-party use of contact data published within the framework of the German legal notices regulations for sending unsolicited advertising and informational materials is hereby explicitly prohibited. The operators of these sites expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the case of transmission of unsolicited advertising material, such as spam etc.

Personal data

Personal information is any information that makes any statement about an identified or identifiable natural person including name, gender, or email. In addition, there is anonymised data that cannot be assigned to any specific person. This mainly includes statistics about data on user behaviour.

Online contact form

If you would like to send a message to a doctor via PRIMO MEDICO, you do not need to register. For each contact form, the following information is required for a smooth process of the request: current diagnosis or illness, previous therapy and last treatments, diagnoses or findings (which you can upload), first name, last name, gender, telephone number, email, place of residence, type of insurance, and request for appointment (for diagnosis and examination, surgery, or a second opinion). This is also transmitted to the doctor to make an appointment.

No transfer of personal data

Unless otherwise specified in these data protection regulations or legal regulations, no personal data will be passed on to third parties.

Storage of personal data

The personal data generated from the contact forms and from the email inquiries to the medical specialists is saved for 10 years. You may revoke the storage and use at any time with a future effect. Your data will then be deleted.

PRIMO MEDICO seal and widget

If a doctor or clinic has integrated our PRIMO MEDICO seal and you visit the website of that doctor or clinic, personal data will be processed by PRIMO MEDICO. Although the seal or content of PRIMO MEDICO is displayed on the website of the doctor or clinic, it needs to be accessible from PRIMO MEDICO’s servers. For this purpose, a data connection is established from the accessed page (website of the doctor or clinic) to PRIMO MEDICO and certain technical access data is transmitted to PRIMO MEDICO as well as to our hosting service providers. This transmission is necessary so that the seal or content can be delivered to the user and thus displayed. This technical access data is transmitted purely for the purpose of delivering the seal or content and is not stored or used in any other way.

With the integration of the seal, the doctor or clinic pursues the objective and legitimate interest of presenting current and correct content on his or her website. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 f) of the GDPR. Due to the integration of the PRIMO MEDICO seal, the persons in charge of the doctor's or clinic's website do not store the access data. You can find out whether and to what extent your personal data is processed via the doctor's or clinic's website from the privacy policy declaration on the respective doctor's or clinic's homepage.

Collection and processing of usage information

Each time you access, the following data is collected on our server for statistical purposes: Computer IP address, time, status, transmitted data, referrer page, browser type, and version information. The data is evaluated exclusively in an anonymous form; no personal reference can be made (i.e. IP address is shortened to the domain level). PRIMO MEDICO can thus evaluate the days and times when the PRIMO MEDICO website is particularly in demand as well as the amount of data generated. Our goal is to identify potential errors (e.g. incorrect links or errors in the programmed code). This data will not be mixed with personal data. The anonymous log files are kept for one year and then deleted.
